Are you an experienced and dedicated Social Care PIC or deputy manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Lead and inspire a team while ensuring quality care for service
users.
* Create a safe and nurturing environment for children, focusing on
their physical, emotional, and mental well-being.
* Implement individual care plans, considering unique needs and
circumstances.
* Collaborate with staff for consistent care delivery.
* Monitor and supervise children, responding effectively to
behavioural or emotional issues.
* Maintain accurate records of progress, development, and incidents.
* Communicate effectively with children, families, and colleagues.
* Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and collaborate
with professionals for comprehensive care.
* Support educational activities and address learning or behavioural
challenges.
* Organise recreational and social activities, fostering a positive
and inclusive community.
* Handle crises and emergencies, following established protocols and
collaborating with external agencies.
* Stay informed about best practices and legislative changes
REQUIREMENTS:
* Minimum 3 years management experience
* MUST have experience in mainstream children’s residential
* Minimum QQI level 7 degree in Social Care or related field.
* QQI 6 in People Management
* Full clean driving license.
* Proven experience in mainstream social care
* Leadership experience
